WANTED: Grand Larceny (Manhattan/Brooklyn)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance with locating and identifying the individual in the attached video and photograph wanted for questioning in connection to several grand larcenies that occurred within Manhattan and Brooklyn. Details are as follows:

Incident #1 (18th Precinct): It was reported to police that on Saturday, February 22, 2017 at approximately 9:49 a.m. inside of 725 Fifth Avenue, (Retail Store) a 29 year old female store employee discovered store merchandise missing. Subsequent investigation determined that an unidentified female is observed on surveillance recording removing a purse with an estimated value of $1250. The individual fled the store in an unknown direction.

 Incident #2 (19th Precinct): It was reported to police that on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at approximately 1:21 p.m. inside of 971 Madison Avenue, (Retail Store) a 57 year old female store employee discovered store merchandise missing. Subsequent investigation determined that an unidentified female and an unidentified male are observed on surveillance recording removing jewelry with an estimated value of $20,000. The individuals fled the store in an unknown direction.

Incident #3 (90 Precinct): It was reported to police that on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at approximately 12:18 p.m. inside of 332Rutledge Street, (Retail Store) a 57 year old female store employee discovered store merchandise missing. Subsequent investigation determined that an unidentified female and male are observed on surveillance recording removing jewelry with an estimated value of $20,000. The individuals fled the store in an unknown direction.

Incident #4(5th Pct): It was reported to police that on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at approximately 2:45 p.m. inside of 109 East Broadway, (Supermarket) a 60 year old female store customer was engaged in a  dispute with another customer and realized her purse was missing. Subsequent investigation determined that an unidentified female is observed on surveillance recording removing the victim’s purse with an estimated value of $530. The individuals fled the store in an unknown direction.

Incident #5(61st Pct): It was reported to police that on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at approximately 10:45 a.m. inside of 1973 Coney Island Avenue, (Retail Store) ) a male store employee discovered store merchandise missing. Subsequent investigation determined that an unidentified female is observed on surveillance recording removing a religious artifact with an estimated value of $1500. The individual fled the store in an unknown direction.

Incident #6(MTN Pct): It was reported to police that on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at approximately 11:30 a.m. an unidentified male and female enter 1409 Sixth Avenue (Jewelry Store),  and approach a  store employee.  While the unidentified male distracts the store employe, the unidentified female opens a display case and removes jewelry with an estimated value of $95,000. The individuals fled the store in an unknown direction.

  • Individual #1 is described as a female, White, in her 60’s, 5’5″ tall and 150 pounds
  • Last seen wearing a gray cap, white scarf, black fur lined jacket and black pants
  • Individual #2 is described as a male, White, in his 60’s, 5’7″ tall and 170 pounds
  • Last seen wearing all dark clothing
