The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photographs in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 46 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Friday, February 2, 2018, at approximately 8:20 p.m. near the corner of Jerome Avenue and East Fordham Road, the individual and the 59-year-old male victim got into a verbal dispute that turned physical. The individual struck the victim multiple times in the face and body with a cane. The individual then fled the location in an unknown direction. The victim was removed to Montefiore Hospital where he was treated and released for lacerations to his eye and forehead.
The individual is described as:
- A female black, in her 20s
- Last seen wearing a yellow jacket, black pants and a grey hat
