WANTED: Robbery Pattern (Brooklyn)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance with locating and identifying the individual in the attached video and photographs, who is wanted in connection to several robberies that occurred within the confines of the 60, 61 and 62 Precincts. Details are as follows:

 Incident #1 (62 Pct): It was reported to police that on Thursday January 4, 2018, at approximately 11:55 p.m. in front of 7703 New Utrecht Avenue, the individual approached the 27-year-old male victim, displayed a handgun and demanded his money. The individual then removed the victim’s backpack and fled in an unknown direction. Among the items inside the backpack was $100 in cash.

Incident #2 (62 Pct): It was reported to police that on Thursday January 4, 2018, at approximately 11:55 p.m. in front of a residential home in the vicinity of 77 Street and New Utrecht Avenue, the individual approached the 29-year-old male victim and asked if he had change for a $5 bill. When the victim told him he didn’t have any money, the individual displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The individual took $4 from the victim and fled southbound on New Utrecht Avenue.

Incident #3 (60 Pct): It was reported to police that on Friday January 5, 2018, at approximately 12: 30 a.m. in the vicinity of 78 Street and 19 Avenue, the 38 year-old male victim (an on-duty cab driver) picked up three individuals and drove them to 13 Avenue and Avenue V. Once at that location one of the males displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property while the second individual took his cell phone. The individuals fled southbound into the Marlboro Housing Developments where one individual was subsequently apprehended.

 Incident #4 (61 Pct): It was reported to police that on Friday January 5, 2018, at approximately 2:58 a.m. in front of 2835 86 Street, the individual approached the 26-year-old male victim, displayed a handgun and demanded his property. The victim refused and after a brief struggle ran away from the individual.

 Incident #5 (60 Pct): It was reported to police that on Friday January 5, 2018, at approximately 3:00 a.m. in the vicinity of 86 Street and West 8 Street, the individual approached the 20-year-old male victim and asked if he had change for a $10 bill. When the victim told him he didn’t have any money, the individual displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The individual took $320 from the victim and fled westbound on 86 Street.

 The individual is described as a:

  •  Male, black, 25 to 30 years old, 5’8″; last seen wearing all black clothing.

  • Shordar, Ruhul
  • 18-year-old male
  • 2331 West 11 Street
  • Brooklyn, NY

  • Robbery
