WANTED: Grand Larceny (Staten Island)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photos regarding a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 121 Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to police that on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 1:02 p.m. inside the “Apple Store” located at 2655 Richmond Avenue, an unidentified male entered the location to purchased two Apple cell phones for $2,600.00.  He asked the sales clerk to recount the money, at which time the individual distracted the cashier and put $1,300.00 back into his pocket before fleeing the store in an unknown direction, the unidentified male was observed leaving store on surveillance cameras.

The individual is described as an:

  • Adult male, white, 5’9″, 165 Lbs.,
  • Red hair with a mustache and a goatee.

He was last seen wearing:

  •  Blue jeans, black sweat jacket, black jacket, red sneakers and a black baseball cap with letters “ck” on the front.
