The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached photographs in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 121 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Tuesday December 19, 2017, at approximately 12:00 p.m. inside of a residence in the vicinity of Van Pelt Avenue and Netherland Avenue, the 39-year-old female victim was notified by a bank representative that her bank account was overdrawn. Pursuant to an active investigation, it was determined that on December 12, 2017, one individual used the victim’s account information to deposit numerous fraudulent checks, totaling approximately $6,000, into her bank account. On December 13, 2017, a second individual used the victim’s account information to withdraw $2,000 from her account.
The first individual is:
- A male, black; last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater and light colored pants.
The second individual is:
- A male, black; last seen wearing a black long sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black and white sneakers.
