The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached photographs in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 109 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Tuesday October 20, 2017, at approximately 3:00 p.m. inside of 57-01 Main Street, the 57-year-old male victim discovered that a bank check he mailed out never reached its intended recipient. Pursuant to an active investigation, it was determined that on October 3, 2017, inside of 31-87 Steinway Street (Bank of America), the two individuals deposited the check, now altered with another person’s name on it, into an account for the purposes of withdrawing the money.
The first individual is:
- A dark-skinned male, with a goatee and curly hair
- Last seen wearing a black baseball cap a red or orange jacket with black stars all over it and an orange or red shirt
The second individual is:
- A dark-skinned male;
- Last seen wearing a black hooded sweater with the word “alife” across its chest in gold lettering
