WANTED: Robbery (Manhattan)

 Pursuant to an active ongoing investigation, it has been determined that the following incident is part of a robbery pattern and additional photos and video have been obtained:

Incident #2

 It was reported to police that on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at 11:16 a.m. inside 785 Madison Avenue (A Lange and Sohne Jewelry), an unidentified male entered the store, brandished a gun and announced a robbery. The individual ordered the store employees to open several display cases containing jewelry. The individual used a hammer to break the glass on a display case and removed jewelry valued at $738K. The individual fled the location on foot northbound on Madison Avenue. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.

 The unidentified individual is described as:

  •  A male, White, last seen wearing all black.

The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individuals in connection with a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 19th Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Monday, November 21, 2016, at 10:41 a.m.two unidentified individuals entered the Jaeger-Lecoultre  Jewelry Store , located at 701 Madison Avenue. Individual #1 displayed a firearm and ordered three employees to lay down on the floor. Individual #2 proceeded to smash two display boxes with a claw hammer and removed five watches valued at more than $300,000. Both individuals then fled southbound on Madison Avenue and then eastbound on East 62 Street. There were no injuries reported.

 Individual #1 is described as:

  • A male white, approximately 6’4″ tall, 240 pounds with a light complexion.
  • He wore a black winter coat, black dress pants, baseball cap and sunglasses and possessed a black handgun.

Individual #2 is described as:

  • A male white, approximately 6’2″ tall, 190 pounds with a light complexion.
  • He wore gray winter coat, multi-colored ski cap, black pants, black Nike boots, and black sunglasses and possessed a claw hammer.
