WANTED: Robbery (Brooklyn)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video in regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 94 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 10:27 p.m. the victim, a 63-year old female entered the vestibule of her residence located on Morgan Avenue within the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, when one of two individuals followed her inside the location and punched her in the face. The other individual acted as a lookout, while the individual inside the location continuously punched the victim in the face and head.  Both individuals fled the location southbound on Morgan Avenue, with the victim’s purse, which contained her cellphone and $40. The victim sustained a fractured eye socket, jaw and bruising and swelling to the face and was taken to Woodhull hospital by EMS.

Individual 1:

  • Male, black, 15-23 years of age, dark complexion.
  • Last seen wearing a dark colored hoodie, dark colored sweat pants and dark colored shoes.

Individual 2:

  • Male, black, 15-23 years of age, dark complexion.
  • Last seen wearing a gray hoodie, dark colored pants and dark colored sneakers.
