The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in regards to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 72 Precinct/TD30. Details are as follows:
It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at 2:20 p.m. the victim, a 77-year old male entered the Fort Hamilton Parkway subway station and was at the turnstile, when the individual approached him from behind and hit him on the left side of his ear. The individual fled the location to parts unknown and the victim was removed to Lutheran hospital with a punctured ear drum.
The individual is a:
- Male, black, 16-years of age
- 6’0 medium complexion, black hair, brown eyes
- Last seen wearing a black book bag, beige pants and a blue sweater
