The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male who is sought in connection with an assault in Transit within the confines of Transit District 33/77th Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Sunday, November 11, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. inside of the Broadway Junction station, the victim, a 21-year-old female, was riding an escalator when an unidentified male approached from behind and grabbed her buttocks as he passed her. The victim followed the unidentified male to the Manhattan-bound A/C platform, where the unidentified male punched the victim in her face. The unidentified male fled aboard a C Train. The victim exited the transit system and sought police assistance. She was treated at the scene by EMS for a laceration to her lip.
- The surveillance video was taken at Broadway Junction and shows the unidentified male immediately before the incident.
