WANTED: Arson (Brooklyn)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video and photo in regards to an arson that occurred within the confines of the 60 Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to the police that on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 2:30 a.m. one individual waited on a motorcycle in front of the Tashkent Supermarket, located at 713 Brighton Beach Avenue, while another individual entered the location and threw two bottles containing a flammable liquid into the store. Both individuals fled the location on a motorcycle. There were no reported injuries during the incident and the store employees were able to extinguish the fire without further incident.

 Individual 1:

  • Male, white
  • Last seen wearing a black hoodie, black jeans, and a black mask.

 Individual 2:

  • Male
  • Last seen wearing a black and white motorcycle helmet, black hoodie, red shirt, black jeans and black shoes.
