The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 109 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Saturday November 18, 2017, at approximately 9:30 p.m. in front of 141-30 33 Avenue, two individuals approached the 59 year-old female victim from the rear and struck her on the head causing her to lose consciousness. When she regained consciousness she realized her purse was missing. Among the items inside the purse were $2,000 in cash, a cell phone and 3 credit cards. Upon further investigation, it was determined that on November 19, 2017 at approximately 0159 hours, inside of 186-16 Union Turnpike (Rite Aid), the individual used one of the victim’s credit cards to purchase merchandise worth $7.79.
The individual is a:
- Female, black, heavy set
- Last seen wearing a black hat, a black hooded coat, black pants and black shoes.
