WANTED: Robbery (Manhattan)

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photo in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 60 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Tuesday November 21, 2017, at approximately 1:30 a.m. the individual followed the two female victims (a 17 year-old and an 18 year-old) into the vestibule of a residential building in the vicinity of Surf Avenue and West 12 Street and told them to follow him back outside. The individual then threatened to shot them if they didn’t give him their money. The victims complied and gave him approximately $150 in cash. The individual fled the location in an unknown direction.

The individual is described as a:

  • Male black, 23 to 30 years old, 5’8″
  • Last seen wearing a black knit cap, a gray hooded sweater and a black “Marmot” coat.
