WANTED: Grand Larceny (Manhattan)

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual wanted for questioning in connection to a grand larceny within the confines of 24th Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It has been reported to police that on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at approximately 3:40 p.m. in the vicinity of 245 West 107th Street, a 73-year-old female victim was walking at the location when an unidentified male approached from behind and forcibly removed the victim’s purse and fled on foot southbound on West 107th Street and Riverside Drive. A witness to the incident chased after the individual at which time he dropped the purse. The victim’s purse was recovered and returned to the victim. The victim was not injured during the course of this incident. 

The suspect is described as:

  •  A male White in his thirties, approximately 6’2″ and 170lbs, last seen wearing a blue winter coat and blue jeans.
