The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 108 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Tuesday November 14, 2017, at approximately 12:35 p.m. inside of the Queens Plaza “N/R” subway station, the individual avoided payment of fare into the subway system by jumping over a turnstile. The victim, a uniformed on-duty New York City Police Officer, stopped the individual in the station’s mezzanine. As the Officer engaged the individual in conversation, he shoved her to the floor and fled into the station. The Officer gave chase but the individual fled the station aboard a northbound train. The Officer was removed to an area hospital with injuries to her back and left hand.
The individual is described as:
- Male Asian/Pacific Islander
- 20 to 25 years old, 5’5″ to 5’6″, 150lbs
Last seen wearing:
- A red, white and blue winter hat, a black leather jacket and blue jeans.
