The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 13 Precinct/Transit District 4. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Saturday September 30, 2017, at approximately 7:15 p.m. inside of the Union Square “Q” subway station, one individual snatched the 25 year-old female victim’s cell phone from her hand and ran out of the station. A second individual prevented the victim from chasing after the first by blocking her path. This second individual was apprehended on scene by responding Officers.
The outstanding individual is a:
- Male, black; last seen wearing a gray hooded sweater, blue jeans and black sneakers.
