The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video in regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 46 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to the police that on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 1:55 p.m. the 26-year-old female victim and her two children were walking toward the bus stop located at West 176 Street and University Avenue when, in front of 1633 University Avenue, an unknown individual came from behind and snatched her necklace and purse. The victim began to struggle with the individual, who also attempted to take her cell phone out of her hand. The individual then fled on foot. The victim was not injured.
The individual is described as a:
- Male black, approximately in his 20s, 5’8″ tall, 160 pounds, with a dark complexion, thin build, last seen wearing a brown and white baseball hat, a blue shirt with a wolf print on the front, gray jeans and black boots.
