WANTED: Collision Investigation-Fatal (Bronx)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video and photo in regards to a leaving the scene of an accident that occurred within the confines of the 41 Precinct. Details are as follows:

It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at 12:01 p.m. the individual and the victim, a 49-year old male meet at the intersection of East 156 Street and Kelly Street, where the victim agreed to purchase an Armani jacket from the individual. The individual was inside of a red or possibly maroon late model Jeep Grand Cherokee, when he sped off with the victim hanging onto the passenger side of the vehicle. The individual dragged the victim for approximately 4 blocks before the victim was thrown to the ground. The individual fled the location northbound on Prospect Avenue. EMS responded and transported the victim to Lincoln hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
