WANTED: Assault (Staten Island)

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the individual wanted in connection with an assault within the confines of the 121 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Monday, July 31, 2017 at approximately 6:50 p.m. a unidentified individual entered the MTA Bus #7708 at Castleton Avenue and Jewett Avenue with a lit cigarette. Once inside, the MTA bus driver demanded the individual to extinguish the cigarette at which time he became irate. The individual then punched the 44-year-old male victim once in the face causing redness, bruising and swelling to the right side of his face. The individual then fled the bus on foot to parts unknown. The victim was removed to Richmond University Medical Center in stable condition.

 The individual is described as:

  •  Male Black, approximately 6’0″ tall, 250 lbs., with brown eyes, black hair, dark complexion

 Last seen wearing:

  •  A red hoody sweater and a black NY Yankee hat.
