WANTED: Assault (Manhattan)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video and photo in regards to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 1 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to the police that on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at approximately 1:25 a.m.the unknown individual did approach a 16-year-old male at Whitehall Street and South Street, vicinity of the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, and asked for a beer. The victim refused and the individual proceeded to stab the 16-year-old victim in the abdomen with an unknown object before fleeing the location on foot into the South Ferry subway station. The victim was removed to Bellevue Hospital by EMS in stable condition. 

 The individual is described as a:

  •  Male black, 30’s, dark complexion, approximately 5’7″ tall, approximately 210 lbs., bald, wearing a long black t-shirt, light blue jeans, white sneakers with a large scar on his neck.
