The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 9 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Saturday August 12, 2017, at approximately 3:57 a.m. in front of 25 1 Avenue, the individual and the 39 year-old male victim got into a physical altercation. During the fight, the individual head-butted and punched the victim in the face numerous times. In addition, the individual cut the victim with an unknown sharp object. The victim suffered a broken jaw, lacerations to his head and shoulder and was treated at Bellevue Hospital. The individual fled the location in an unknown direction.
The individual is described as a:
- Male black; last seen wearing a light colored long sleeved shirt, black pants and black sneakers.
