The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual in the attached pictures and video wanted for questioning in connection to an assault on that occurred within the confines of the 17th Precinct / Transit District 4. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 at approximately 5:38 p.m. inside of the Lexington Avenue and East 53rd Street subway station, a 69 year old victim was approached by an unknown male black who punched the victim causing him to lose his balance and fall into a metal support beam causing a laceration and pain to his head. The suspect fled the station to parts unknown. The victim was removed to Bellevue hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a:
- Male Black, in his 20’s, he was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, blue jean shorts, white socks and black sneakers.
