WANTED: Assault (Bronx)

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photograph in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 40 Precinct/Transit District 12. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Friday September 1, 2017, at approximately 11:22 p.m. aboard a northbound “6” train, the individual sat next to the 37 year-old female victim and leaned up against her repeatedly. The individual punched the victim on the right arm when she asked him to stop. He then slapped the victim’s cell phone from her hand when she took his photograph. The individual fled the train at the Cypress Avenue station.

 The individual is described as a:

  •  Male Hispanic; last seen wearing a light blue and gray striped shirt.
