WANTED: Robbery Pattern (Brooklyn)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public for assistance with locating and identifying the individual in the attached video and photograph, who is wanted in connection to several robberies that occurred within the confines of the 60 and 61 Precincts. Details are as follows:

 Incident #1 (61 pct): It was reported to police that on Tuesday July 11, 2017, at approximately 11:10 p.m. in front of a residential building in the vicinity of Parkway Court and Hubbard Street, the individual approached the 20 year-old female from behind, punched her numerous times in the face and removed her cell phone. The individual fled in an unknown direction. The victim suffered fractures to her face and was treated at Maimonides Medical Center. 

 Incident #2 (60 pct): It was reported to police that on Saturday July 15, 2017, at approximately 12:45 a.m. in front of a residential building in the vicinity of East 1 Street and Avenue Y, the individual approached the 21 year-old female from behind as she approached her home, displayed a handgun and demanded her property. The victim complied and gave the individual her cell phone and bag.  The individual fled southbound on East 1 Street. Among the items inside the victim’s bag were credit cards, approximately $150 in cash and headphones.

 Incident #3 (61 pct): It was reported to police that on Sunday July 16, 2017, at approximately 7:45 a.m. in front of 2436 West 2 Street, the individual approached the 63 year-old female from behind, displayed a handgun and demanded her property. The victim complied and gave the individual her bag, which contained her cellphone, $18 in cash and personal papers.  The individual fled southbound on West 2 Street.

 Incident #4 (61 pct): It was reported to police that on Tuesday July 18, 2017, at approximately 1:50 a.m. in the vicinity of Avenue Z and East 26 Street, the individual followed the 26 year-old female victim as she walked home. When the victim noticed she was being followed she attempted to evade the individual by running away from him but he chased her down, displayed a handgun and punched her in the face numerous times. The victim fell to the ground and the individual removed her bag. Among the items inside her bag were her cell phone, electronics and personal papers.

Incident #5 (61 pct): It was reported to police that Saturday July 22, 2017, at approximately 12:45 a.m. in front of 2459 West 3 Street, the individual followed the 22 year-old female victim as she walked home. The victim noticed someone was behind her and as she turned to face the individual, he tackled her to the ground, removed her bag and slapped her buttocks. The individual fled southbound on West 3 Street. Among the items inside the victim’s bag were her cell phone, debit card and approximately $708 in cash.

 The individual is described as a:

  •  Male Black, early 20s, 5’5″ to 5’10” in height, slim build.

He was last seen wearing a:

  •  Hooded sweatshirt with dark markings on the upper sleeve and shoulder area, sweatpants and black sneakers. He often covers his face with either a ski mask, bandanna, du-rag or towel.
