The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following individual in connection to a robbery within the confines of the 40th Precinct. Details are as follows:
It has been reported to police that on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at approximately 8:00 p.m. a 73-year-old male victim was at the ATM machine withdrawing money inside the lobby of Citibank located at 349 East 149th Street, when an unidentified individual approached the victim, displayed a box cutter, punched him several times in the stomach and then removed approximately $200 and his cellphone. The individual then fled the bank on foot to parts unknown. The victim refused medical attention.
The individual is described as a:
- Male Black, seen wearing a black and purple baseball hat, black hoodie and carrying a black and red book bag.
