WANTED: Assault (Queens)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video and photo in regards to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 114 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to the police that on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 1:10 p.m. an individual was aboard a stationary “N” train at the Ditmars Boulevard and 31 Street subway station doing pull ups on the train handrails. The individual was informed by the victim, a 64-year male MTA employee that it was inappropriate to use the handrails in that manner.  A verbal dispute turned physical resulting in the victim being punched in the face and the individual fleeing the station.

 The individual is a:

  •  Male, medium complexion, 20-25 years of age, short black hair, brown eyes, last seen wearing a black short sleeved shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers.
