The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals depicted in the attached photographs in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the MTS Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Thursday July 20, 2017, at approximately 12:58 p.m. inside of a moving southbound “4” train, the 48 year-old male victim got into a dispute with the two individuals, a male and a female. When the train arrived at the 42 Street station he stepped off to look for assistance. When the victim tried to get back on the train the male individual blocked his path. As the victim tried to get around him, the individual grabbed him by the shirt and threw him against one of the train seats and punched him in the face. The female also punched the victim in the face before she and the male fled off the train. The victim suffered bruising to his face and knee and sought treatment at Lenox Hill Hospital.
The first individual is a:
- Male, black, in his 20s, 5’5″ to 5’6″ in height; last seen wearing a white tank top.
The second individual is a:
- Female, black, in her 20s, 5’9″ in height, with long dreadlocks; last seen wearing an orange shirt.
