The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals and vehicle depicted in the attached photographs in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 61 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Monday July 10, 2017, at approximately 1:00 p.m. in the vicinity of East 21 Street and Avenue U, two males approached the 24 year-old male victim and demanded his property. When the victim refused, one of the males displayed a handgun and snatched the victim’s backpack off his shoulder. The individuals then fled eastbound on East 21 Street with approximately $80,000 in cash. Upon further investigation, it was determined that two other individuals, a male and a female, acted as lookouts throughout the incident. Furthermore, one of the males who robbed the victim exited a black four door sedan prior to the incident.
- The first individual is a male, black; last seen wearing a gray baseball cap, a black sweater, black pants and red and white sneakers.
- The second individual is a male, black; last seen wearing a black hooded sweater.
- The third individual is a male, black; last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black pants with white stripes on its sides and black sneakers.
- The fourth individual is a female, black; last seen wearing a green dress and white sandals.
The vehicle is described as a black four door sedan.
