WANTED: Attempted Robbery (Brooklyn)

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance to identify the whereabouts of the following individual in connection to an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 73 Precinct/Transit District 33. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Sunday June 11, 2017, at approximately 9:05 p.m. inside the Sutter Avenue “L” subway station, the individual approached the 47 year-old male victim, an on-duty MTA Collecting Agent, and attempted to the remove his service weapon from its holster. The victim fought off the individual, who then fled through the station in an unknown direction.  The Collecting Agent was providing security for an MTA technician who was performing maintenance on an MTA Metrocard Vending Machine.

 The individual has been identified as:

  • Duncan, Rodney D.
  • 24 year-old male, 5’9″, 185lbs, brown eyes and black hair.
  • Last seen wearing a black shirt, black sweatpants with white stripes and black sneakers.
