The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified individual who is seen in the attached surveillance photos in connection with a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 13th Precinct/TD#4. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at approximately 1:10 p.m. an unidentified individual did remove an iPhone from a 27-year-old female victim’s bag while going down the stairs to the platform of the West 14th Street-Union Square Station on the “4” train. When victim realized the phone missing, she confronted the individual and retrieved the phone back. The unidentified individual then grabbed the victim by her hair and struck her multiple times to the head. The individual then fled the subway station in an unknown direction. The victim refused medical attention.
The individual is described as a:
- Female Hispanic, approximately 30-years-old, 5’3″ tall, 100lbs., with straight long brown hair, brown eyes and last seen wearing a multi-colored dress.
Surveillance photos of the individual were captured from the West 14 Street -Union Square subway station as she was exiting the station.
