WANTED: Grand Larceny (Staten Island)

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in ascertaining the whereabouts of the unidentified male who is seen in the attached surveillance video and is sought in connection with a grand larceny within the confines of the 120th Precinct. Details are as follows:

 On Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 12:30 a.m. a 28-year-old male victim parked his 2010 Hyundai Genesis outside of Legends Pub located at 1975 Victory Boulevard. The passenger-side door was unlocked, and the vehicle contained a purse owned by a 22-year-old female victim and a purse owned by a 32-year-old female victim. The victims returned to the vehicle at 4:15 a.m. (same day) and discovered that the purses had been removed. The incident was reported to police, and the ongoing investigation yielded surveillance video that shows that at 2:59 a.m. (same day) an unidentified male exited the pub, removed the purses from the victim’s vehicle and then fled in a grey minivan. Combined, the two purses were valued at $3,300 which included $500 in cash, two iPhones, an iPad, an Amazon Fire Tablet, Bose headphones, several bank cards and IDs.
