WANTED: Homicide (Queens)

The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following person of interest in connection to the homicide below:

 He is described as follows:

  • Male, last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue hoodie with “American Eagle” on its front.

 The victim was initially thought to have been shot in the face, but was in fact shot in his chest.

On Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at approximately 12:02 a.m. police responded to a 911 call of an aided male in front of 40-38 162 Street, within the confines of the 109 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 39-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the face. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
