WANTED: Attempted Robbery (Bronx)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in connection to an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 42 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Saturday, June 10th 2017 at approximately 8:30 a.m. an unidentified male did approach a 53-year old male employee in front of a commercial establishment located in the vicinity of East 165th Street and Washington Avenue. The suspect then did assault the victim with his fists about the head and face causing bruising and cuts. The suspect then attempted to remove an undisclosed amount of cash from the victim’s pocket but was unsuccessful. The suspect then fled the location on foot, westbound on 165th Street. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.

 The individual is described as a:

  •  Male Black who is 20-30 years old, 5’7″ tall and 170 lbs, who was last seen wearing a white tank top shirt, light blue pants and dark shoes.
