The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in regards to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 13 Precinct/TD4. Details are as follows:
It was reported to the police that on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:40 a.m. the victim, a 29-year old male, exited the East 14 Street/Union Square subway station, when the individual approached him from behind and used an unknown object to slash the victim on his back. The victim chased the individual into the East 14 Street/Union Square subway station, where he boarded a northbound “6” to parts unknown. The victim was taken to Beth Israel Hospital for treatment to his injury.
The individual is a:
- Male, Hispanic, light complexion, approximately 35-40 years of age, last seen wearing a camouflage shirt and dark sunglasses.
