The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video regarding a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 44 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 11:17 a.m. at the southwest corner of East 174 Street & Walton Avenue, a 32-year-old male victim entered a the rear seat of a white, Lincoln MK2 four door sedan to discuss payment of money owed to him from an acquaintance known as “Elton”. Once inside the car, the victim observed three males inside of the car including “Elton,” the driver. A verbal dispute ensued which resulted in the four occupants punching the victim about the body. One individual displayed a silver and black firearm and struck the victim in head with the firearm and forcibly removed $2,600 dollars from him. The victim exited the vehicle and called police. The vehicle was last observed heading northbound on Jerome Avenue. The victim sustained minor cuts and bruises to his body. EMS responded to the scene and transported him to Bronx Lebanon Hospital where he was treated and released. The unknown individuals are described as follows:
- Individual #1: Known as “Elton”, he is described as a male, Hispanic, approximately 5’5″ tall, 32-years-old with short black hair. He was last seen wearing dark shorts, white t-shirt and white sneakers.
- Individuals 2, 3 & 4 are describe as: male, Hispanics, 25-30 years-of-age.
