The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photographs in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 110 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Monday May 22, 2017, at approximately 11:40 inside of the 74 Street-Roosevelt Avenue subway station, the individual engaged the 44 year-old female victim in conversation as she paid her fare at the turnstile. The victim ignored the individual and walked into the station. The individual followed the victim inside and continued to harass her. After a brief dispute, the individual snatched the victim’s purse from her shoulder and ran towards the street staircase. The victim chased after the individual and caught up with him as he ascended the stairs. He then turned towards the victim and kicked her numerous times in the chest and stomach. The individual removed approximately $300 from the victim’s purse and threw the purse on the floor. The individual ran out of the station and fled northbound on 74 Street.
The individual is described as:
- Male black, 25 to 35 years old, 6’2″ to 6’4″, 155lbs, with a goatee;
Last seen wearing:
- Black hooded sweater, blue jeans and a Chicago Bulls baseball cap.
