WANTED: Robbery Pattern (Manhattan)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the attached video in regards to two robberies within the confines of the 19 Precinct. The details are as follows:

 On May 12, 2017 at 5:28 p.m. the unidentified male entered the Citi Bank, located at 1266 1 Avenue, and approached the 22 year-old victim from behind, as she was withdrawing money from an ATM.  The unidentified male demanded that the victim withdraw cash for him and threatened to throw acid at her if she refused.  The individual was holding a plastic bottle containing an unknown substance.  The individual fled the location after the victim handed him $1,000.

 On May 29, 2017 at 1:35 p.m. the unidentified male entered the Citi Bank, located at 1266 1 Avenue, and approached the 36 year-old victim from behind, as she was withdrawing money from an ATM.  The unidentified male demanded that the victim withdraw cash for him and threatened to throw acid at her if she refused.  The individual was holding a plastic bottle containing an unknown substance.  The individual fled the location after the victim handed him $500.
