WANTED: Robbery (Manhattan)

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photographs in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the Central Park Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Tuesday May 2, 2017, at approximately 6:00 p.m. inside Central Park (vicinity of 106 Street and West Drive), the individual approached the 15 year-old female victim, asked for the time and then a dollar. When the victim told the individual she didn’t have money, he snatched her cellphone from her hand and shoved her to the ground. The individual fled northeast inside the park.

 The individual is described as a:

  •  Male Hispanic, in his 30s, 5’8″ to 5’9″, 140lbs; last seen wearing a white shirt with a gray print pattern, white jeans and red sneakers.
