The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video regarding a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 32th Precinct. Details are as follows:
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, the following identified individual is wanted for questioning with regards to the above mentioned robbery:
It was reported to police that on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 0250 hours in front of 219 West 146 Street a 31-year-old female victim was walking westbound on West 146 Street when she was approached by an unidentified male. The unidentified male forcibly removed her purse, struck the victim repeatedly about the face with a closed fist then sexually assaulted her. The unidentified male was last seen fleeing eastbound on 146 Street, the victim sustained trauma to her face, EMS also responded to the scene and transported her to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition. There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
The unknown individual is described as follows: adult male black, approximately 5’8″ tall, 175 pounds with short dark hair. He was last seen wearing grey sweatpants, white sneakers and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.

It was reported to police that on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 0250 hours a 31-year-old female victim exited the subway station at West 149 Street and St. Nicholas Avenue, and continued walking eastbound on West 146 Street toward 7th Avenue.
Pursuant to an ongoing investigation, additional video has been obtained.
