WANTED: Robbery (Bronx)

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photographs wanted for questioning in connection to an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 47th Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Sunday, April 30, 2017, in front of 3580 Bronxwood Avenue, at approximately 9:40 p.m. the individual approached the 55-year-old male victim from behind, displayed a handgun and demanded his property. When the victim refused and ran away from the individual, the individual fired several shots at the victim. The victim was struck once in the right shoulder; he was removed to Jacobi Medical Center in serious but stable condition.

The individual is described as a:

  •  Male Black, 19-22 years old, 5’6″ to 5’9″; last seen wearing a white du-rag, a white t-shirt, dark colored jeans and white sneakers.
