WANTED: Burglary Pattern (Brooklyn)

The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video/photo wanted for questioning in regards to a burglary pattern that occurred within the confines of the 79th Precinct. Details are as follows:

Incident 1: It was reported to the police that on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 2200 hours, the individual attempted to enter a residential building located within the vicinity of Jefferson Avenue and Bedford Avenue through the front door using a crowbar. The individual was not able to gain entry and fled the location in an unknown direction.

Incident 2: It was reported to the police that on Friday, April 14, 2017 at 0510 hours, the individual attempted to enter a residential building located within the vicinity of Jefferson Avenue and Nostrand Avenue through the front door using a crowbar. The individual was not able to gain entry and fled on foot westbound on Jefferson toward Bedford Avenue.

Incident 3: It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 0510 hours, the individual attempted to enter a residential building located in the vicinity of MacDonough Street and Marcy Avenue. He was observed wearing gray clothing and sneakers using a crowbar to gain entry through the front door of the location. Once inside the individual removed approximately $1,526 worth of tools and cleaning supplies. The individual fled the location on foot westbound towards MacDonough Street.

Incident 4: It was reported to the police that on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 0510 hours, the individual gained entry to a residential building located in the vicinity of Gates Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue by breaking the glass to a side door. Once inside, the individual attempted to remove a television and fled the location in an unknown direction.

Incident 5: It was reported to the police that on Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at 2340 hours, the individual entered a residential building through the front door, broke open a storage room and removed a bicycle valued at $3000.

The individual is a male, Black, medium complexion, approximately in his 30’s, medium build, with short cropped hair.

On Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 0510 hours in the confines of the 79 pct., the below incident was determined to be part of burglary pattern # 54:

Incident 6: It was reported to the police that on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 0510 hours the individual did enter a residential building located within the vicinity of Monroe Street and Bedford Avenue through the front door using a crowbar. Once inside the individual removed approximately $630.00 worth of tools and cleaning supplies and fled on foot in an unknown direction.
