WANTED: Assault/Robbery (Bronx)

It has been reported to police that on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at approximately 2:37 p.m. two of the individuals approached the male victim and 18-year-old female victim as they sat together on a NYCTA BX42 bus traveling on Tremont Avenue, and displayed box cutters to them.  The two individuals then proceeded to physically assault the male victim and remove the female victim’s iPhone from her. The third male entered the bus with the others and was in their company as the assault and robbery were occurring. He then fled with them when the bus stopped in the vicinity of Tremont Avenue and East 180 Street, to parts unknown. They are described as follows:

  •  Individual #1: Male, Hispanic, thin mustache, with ponytail, slim build, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
  •  Individual #2: Male, black, slim build, last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt and a black baseball cap.
  •  Individual #3: Male, medium complexion, slim build, with a blow-out style haircut.
