WANTED: Assault (Manhattan)

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photograph in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the Midtown South Precinct/Transit District 1. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Tuesday May 9, 2017, at approximately 9:55 p.m. inside of a northbound “R” train at the 42 Street station, the individual punched the 23 year-old male victim in the face in an unprovoked attack. The victim suffered swelling and bleeding to his nose. He was treated at the scene. The individual fled the location in an unknown direction.

 The individual is described as a:

  •  Male black, 25 to 35 years old, 5’7″ to 5’9″, 150 to 160lbs; last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, a dark colored baseball cap, a dark colored jacket and blue jeans.
