WANTED: Robbery (Bronx)


The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance with identifying an individual depicted in the attached photo wanted for questioning in connection to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 50th Precinct. The details are as follows:

 It was reported to police that on Sunday, April 02, 2017 at approximately 4:00 p.m. in front of 213 West 231st Street, an unidentified female ran by an 83-year-old female victim and removed her purse from her hand and fled on foot northbound on Broadway. The victim fell to the ground sustaining minor injuries. The victim went to Elmhurst General Hospital by private means where he was treated and released.

 Individual is described a:

  • Female Hispanic who is in her early 20’s, 140lbs.

Last seen:

  •  With her hair in a bun, wearing ripped blue jeans and camouflage military style jacket.
