The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached photograph in connection to a grand larceny that occurred within the confines of the 84 Precinct/Transit District 30. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Monday March 13, 2017, at approximately 5:30 p.m. inside of the Jay Street “A/C/F” subway station, the 35 year-old female victim’s wallet was removed from her purse, which was attached to her baby’s stroller. Among the items inside the wallet were the victim’s credit cards. Later that day, at the Fulton Street station in Manhattan (confines of the 1 Precinct), the individual used the victim’s credit cards to purchase over $300 worth of MTA Metrocards.
The individual is described as a:
- Male black or Hispanic, 6’2″, with glasses;
- Last seen wearing a black and white knitted cap, a dark colored coat, gray pants and a dark colored sweater.
