WANTED: Attempted Robbery (Queens)


The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance video and photo in regards to an attempted robbery that occurred within the confines of the 115 Precinct. Details are as follows:

 It was reported to the police that on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 2:20 a.m. the 16-year-old victim was in front of McDonald’s restaurant, located at 88-05 Astoria Boulevard, when the individual punched him in the face and attempted to remove property from the victim’s pocket. The individual fled the location and the victim sustained minor injuries.

The individual is a:

  •  Male black, approximately 25-27 years of age, approximately 5’8″ tall, dark complexion, brown eyes, black braided hair.

 Last seen:

  •  Wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans and brown boots.
