The NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the following persons of interests wanted for questioning in connection to an assault in the confines of the 1st Precinct. Details are as follows:
At approximately 3:10 p.m. in front of 2 Washington Street, two individuals were engaged in a dispute at which time an unidentified person or persons fired shots. As a result of the incident a 40-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the torso and was transported by private means to Long Island College Hospital in stable condition. A second individual, a 34-year-old female, was shot in the left knee and was removed by EMS to New York Downtown Hospital in stable condition.
The persons of interest are described as follows:
- Person of Interest #1: Male Black, 30-40 years old, heavy build wearing black hat, black jacket, red plaid shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
- Person of Interest #2: Male Black, bald, 30-40 years old, blue sweat shirt, blue jeans, multi-colored sneakers and carrying a tan backpack.
