The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual depicted in the attached video and photograph in connection to an assault that occurred within the confines of the 43 Precinct. Details are as follows:
It was reported to police that on Monday April 24, 2017, at approximately 10:34 p.m. in the vicinity of Ellis Avenue and Pugsley Avenue, the individual fired several shots from a handgun and struck the 24 year-old male victim one time in the neck. The individual fled northbound on Pugsley Avenue. The victim was removed to an area hospital in critical condition.
The individual is described as a:
- Male black; last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweater and red sweatpants
