WANTED: Robbery (Manhattan)

 

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a male wanted for questioning in connection to two (2) robberies that occurred in the 5th and 7th Precincts. Details are as follows:

  •  Incident #1 – At approximately 7:15 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 in the rear of 650 Water Street in the confines of the 7th Precinct, a 67-year-old female victim was approached by a male who grabbed her purse and threw her to the ground. The male fled on foot to parts unknown. The purse contained a cell phone and $20.
  •  Incident #2 – At approximately 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 10, 2017 in the vicinity of East Broadway and Catherine Street in the confines of the 5th Precinct, a 34-year-old female victim was approached on the stairwell inside an apartment building by a male who grabbed her purse and threw her to the ground. The male fled the building on foot to parts unknown. The purse contained credit cards, a cell phone and $400.

The individual is described as a:

  •  Male Black, 20-25, 5’5″
