The New York City Police Department is asking the public’s assistance identifying the individual depicted in the attached surveillance photo in regards to a robbery that occurred within the confines of the 60 Precinct / Transit District #34. Details are as follows:
It was reported to the police that on Saturday, March 25, 2017 within TD # 34 at 10:10 p.m. the victim, a 17-year-old male was on board a southbound “Q” train, when the train entered the Ocean Parkway subway station the individual entered through the middle car, approached the victim and inquired if he had any money. The victim gave the individual $20.00. The individual brandished a knife and demands the victim’s cellphone. The victim complied, the individual makes a phone call and when the train enters the Stillwell Avenue subway station both the individual and the victim exited the train. The victim informs a Transit worker of the incident and the individual gives the phone back to the victim. The individual exited the subway station in an unknown direction. There were no reported injuries during the incident.
The individual is a:
- Male, Black, approximately 18-20 years of age, 6’3″, dark complexion, 160 lbs., black hair.
- Last seen wearing a black hoody, gray coat, black pants and black sneakers.
